Plows - I Hate My Car And I Want To Drive (2010)



I wrote about Plows excellent first album a while back to little fanfare with no comments and hardly a download. I'm telling you all to give this band a try! I'm really surprised at how unknown these guys are. So this is their follow-up album and it was originally recorded as a demo that they self recorded on Garageband and have been offering up as a free download on their Last FM page. I think the title is a play on words with Nirvana's song (and one time album title for which ultimately became In Utero) I Hate Myself And I Want To Die. I could be wrong on this but what the hell else is this title suppose to mean?

    yes the title is a play on words based on the nirvana song. after a few short trips and a tour we quit playing together, but later decided the demos of that record were strong enough to finish as an album of sorts. we haven't played in a couple of years. we might play next saturday at an event called cropped out fest because we'll both be in the same town. Aaron plays drums in state champion and lives in chicago. I play bass in prideswallower and live in louisville. thank you for the kind words. I'm glad someone listened to it.
