RIP Rowland S. Howard

Rowland S. Howard died December 30 of liver cancer at the age of 50. I have to admit I haven't followed his career much since the Birthday Party but he was still playing and making music till the very end. His signature feedback laden guitar style was truly ahead of it's time.

Too true, very sad. He just released his new solo album only a few months ago too.

The best one Australian rock musician was Rowland S.Howard, because he had a successful carrer,My favorite song is "The Nightwatchman" and the video in the blog is spectacular, I want to download it!!

Rowland S. Howard was definitely one of the greatest in that musical genre, however the excesive use of drugs was the principal cause to get cancer and to die so young.
